Mrs. Beth Fiorito

6th grade administrator  


After graduating high school, Mrs. Fiorito attended the University of South Carolina where she earned a B.A. in Elementary Education. After three years in the classroom, Mrs. Fiorito earned her M.Ed. from Cambridge College. In 2008, Mrs. Fiorito became a National Board certified teacher. After 15 years in the classroom, Mrs. Fiorito earned her Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Liberty University and her administration certification from Charleston Southern University.


With 17 years of experience in education, Mrs. Fiorito is joining us this year as the sixth grade administrator. She is excited about the opportunity to assist in leading a school with such an outstanding reputation for academic, athletic, musical, and artistic success.  It is her goal to use her talents and passions to build on the many wonderful things happening daily at AMS. Mrs. Fiorito looks forward to partnering with students and families to continue the legacy of excellence that is, and will continue to be, synonymous with Alston Middle School.


Mrs. Fiorito accredits much of her success to the support of her brilliant husband and two amazing children. Together, they enjoy traveling, cooking, eating, exercising and so much more.

Mrs. Natasha Prosser

7th grade administrator 


Mrs. Prosser attended Alston Middle when it was Alston Junior High School.  She graduated from Summerville High School, SC State University and The Citadel.  She earned her Masters +30 in Curriculum and Instruction.  Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal at Alston in 2004, Mrs. Prosser taught science while in the state of Florida, grades 9th-12th.  She also taught grades 7th – 12th at Givhans Alternative Program for six years and spent many years serving as teacher/administrator for several programs of Adult Education. Mrs. Prosser was a Teacher of the Year recipient for two years and a Golden Apple Recipient in 2007.   Mrs. Prosser is a member of the community advisory board for Trident Regional Hospital, as well as a member of The School of Education Advisory Committee for Charleston Southern University.  Mrs. Prosser’s philosophy is that all children can learn and it is our responsibility to allow them to grow and mature during these critical years of their education.  Her family includes her husband, her mother, her sister and a very special niece.  She enjoys singing, cooking, and collecting cookbooks.  Email Mrs. Prosser at
