Welcome to H.Y.P.E (Helping Youth Pursue Excellence), an academic assistance program funded by the Cape Henlopen School District. The primary focus of the program is to assist students with homework and other assignments.
The students will meet immediately after school from 3:00-
4:45 p.m., on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at Beacon Middle School. A district bus provides transportation home. The bus will be leaving the school by 4:50 p.m.
Delaware certified teachers offer academic assistance, monitor, and aid in the completion of homework assignments and projects. The program is not a replacement for parental monitoring of homework completion. It is designed to help students who may need additional help with concepts.
Students receive a snack prior to completing assignments.
Students will follow the Cape Henlopen Code of Conduct at all times. Students who do not obey the code consistently will be asked to leave the program.
