1. How do I get a copy of the school calendar?

The district's online event calendar as well as a printable version of the official academic calendar can be found on our homepage by clicking "News and Events" and then selecting "Calendar Resources". Click here to access the district calendar.

 

2. Where does my child go to school?

Students are zoned to a particular campus based on the verifiable address of the parent/legal guardian. In order to determine which campus your child will attend you can use the Attendance Zone tool and enter your address to find your child's particular campus. Click here to be taken to the Attendance Zone tool.

 

3. When, where, and how do I register?

Registration takes place at the student’s zoned campus based on the verifiable address of the parent/legal guardian. Because registration times may vary, It is recommended you contact the campus directly for assistance with exact dates and times. 4. What are the enrollment requirements for PreK and Headstart?

For Headstart, students must be 3 years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year and meet the federal requirements. For PreK-4, students must be 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year and meet all state guidelines. 5. What documents do I need in order to register my child?

6. What shots/immunizations are required?

7. What are the school hours?

Bingman Headstart:
PreK3-4 - 8:25am - 2:30pm

Elementary Schools:
PreK-5 - 8:15am - 3:35pm

Middle Schools:
8:20am - 3:50pm

High Schools:
Central - 7:30am - 2:55pm 
Ozen - 7:30am - 2:55pm
West Brook - 7:30am - 2:55pm
Brown Center - 7:55am - 3:10pm
Pathways - 7:20am - 2:35pm

 

8. Does my address qualify for transportation?

9. How do I find out about free/reduced price lunch?

10. Where can I find my child's school supply list?

Each campus will have the school supply lists as well as dress code/uniform requirements (if applicable) listed on their individual campus websites. You can access these sites by clicking "Our Schools" in the top menu bar.

 

11. Where can I learn about the district Athletic programs?

13. How do I access student handbook and policies?

14. Can I receive email notices/phone calls about BISD or regarding my child?

Beaumont ISD utilizes a service called Blackboard Connect to reach out to you as a parent with important information about your child (attendance, important announcements, etc.). The system will call the primary phone number for the child as it is listed in our system. If by chance your should change your number, or wish to designate another number as your student's primary contact, please contact the attendance clerk at your child's campus to update this information.

15. When is graduation?

Graduation is held annually on the Saturday following the last day of classes. For more information on graduation dates and times, see the district calendar.

 

16. Where can I find information about dress code/uniforms?
