Dishman Elementary is home to the Eagles where our students are "striving to be Champions every day in every way."  Located on the corner of Champions drive and Walden in Beaumont's southwest end Dishman houses approximately 600 students in grades Pre-K through Fifth.  Our diverse student body is made up of many different ethnic and economic backgrounds making our campus it's own melting pot.  Our teachers and parents are dedicated to the education of our students and work very hard to ensure their success.  The PTA on the Dishman campus is very strong and active.  Our parents partner with the teachers to bring lots fun and educational activities to the campus each year.  A few of our annual highlights are the city wide Beaumont Bike Rodeo held in partnership with the Beaumont Police Department, our various campus wide "movies nights" and the ever popular end of the year Field Day where we go all out to treat our kids to an entire day of crazy fun to reward them for their hard work throughout the year.  The fun certainly doesn't stop there.  We have countless other programs and activities that take place throughout the year.  The science lab on our campus can be compared to no other elementary school in Beaumont .  Students become attached to the fun campus mascots we have in the lab. Our butterfly garden is on it's way to being recognized by the state of Texas and is maintained by the science department, the student council, PTA and our campus Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students).  The atmosphere at Dishman Elementary is one of family and community and we are proud to call ourselves Champions
