Every year First Lego League (FLL) organizes and holds robotics competitions throughout the world. A team will use a Lego computer brick (EV3), three motors and a variety of sensors to create a robot. The team will then use that robot to complete a variety of tasks designed by the designers at Lego. Teams are not only judged on their robot and its design, but on the teamwork and ability to create and report on an innovative solution to a world challenge. Here at Eagle Nest we are the EagleBots. We take pride in who we are as a team and the creativity and passion we use to compete. Every year we select ten fourth and fifth grade students to audition for the team. We are looking for students who like to “think way outside of the box.” If your child is interested we would love to see them audition. We have had a lot of success in the past and we look forward to continued success in the future.
