Each year the Connecticut State Department of Education releases information on each school district. Two of the most noteworthy reports are the Strategic School Profile and the Adequate Yearly Progress Report.
The Strategic School Profile offers a description of the resources and services provided by the Marlborough Board of Education. With information ranging from class sizes to number of instructional hours, the Strategic School Profile is a snapshot of our district.
The Adequate Yearly Progress Report is an annual report regarding student achievement on the Connecticut Mastery Test as related to the federal No Child Left Behind Act. For a district to make AYP, student proficiency must be met on the CMT by all students in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics.
