In the Kindergarten Religion program the focus is on the children's relationship with God as a loving Father and as a kind Creator. Students learn basic prayers and traditions of the Catholic Church. They also attend monthly Mass with their upper grade prayer partners to learn appropriate behavior and responses in the Church setting.
In Mathematics, the children learn about numbers, basic shapes and copying, creating and continuing patterns. Students are also introduced to the concepts of money and addition.
In the Language Arts area students develop their reading readiness skills working with letter recognition, sight words, rhyming words and sounds.
The Social Studies curriculum focuses on the child' relationship to self and others in their families and neighborhoods. They learn about rules, laws and responsibilities as citizens.
Exploring and discovering are key elements in the Science curriculum. Through mini experiments the students learn about life and earth science.
