ACTIVITY GUIDE PAGE

 

Supervised activities for children, kindergarten through eighth grade (grade completed).

 

Enjoy organized games, Box Hockey, Skelly, lanyard, arts and crafts, theme days, and special visitors!

 

Parents:  Get to know your playground leaders this summer!  Stop by any time during the day and visit with the leaders.  Introduce yourself and enjoy some playground games.

 

Registration:  Register IN PERSON on Thursday, June 8, 3:00 - 6:00pm at your area playground.  OR, register online, beginning March 14, 2017.

 

Fee:  $45.00 per child  (All field trips require additional fees for buses and programs.)

 

 

Wonderkids (K4 - Grade 1, grade completed)

       Mondays-Tuesdays-Wednesdays, 9:00 - 11:00am

 

       (Fieldtrip Days -times vary & are optional, but Wonderkids 

       will not meet when there is a fieldtrip scheduled) 

 

 

 

 

General Playground (Grades 2 - 7, grade completed)

 

Mondays-Tuesdays-Wednesdays-Thursdays, 12:30 - 4:15pm

 

Fridays - Designated field trip days - times vary, field trips optional

 

Please note: Eisenhower and Lincoln have 11:55am start times, during Summer School dates (Monday - Thursday, June 19 - August 3).

Participants must be signed up for Playgrounds to enjoy our Field Trips. 

 

 

Wonderkids Field Trips

Trips will include both indoor and outdoor activities.  Buses will pick up participants from ONE location (McKinley Elementary, 2435 North 89th Street, east playground).  Please drop off and pick up children at the times stated on the permission slips.

 

General Playgrounds Field Trips

Trips will include both indoor and outdoor activities.  Buses will pick up participants from two locations (Eisenhower Elementary, 11600 West Center Street, south playground and Lincoln Elementary, 1741 Wauwatosa Avenue, southwest playground).  Please drop off and pick up children at the times stated on the permission slips.

 

ALL Field Trips require a special perission slip and an additional fee.

Important Note for Parents:  The 2nd - 7th grade General Playground program is a DROP-IN activity; children are allowed to come and go as they please.  While on the playground, they will be encouraged to participate in ongoing, supervised activities.  A safe environment will be provided; however, the program should not be considered an alternative for individual child care.
