Nutrition Nuggets

Breakfast is served at no cost to all students each morning from 7:35 to 7:55 a.m. at Diamond Point.

Please remember to pack a healthy snack for your child. Cheese/crackers, granola bars, and fruit are great snacks for kids. Avoid sending chips, cookies, sugary items that will make them feel tired while in class.

Follow our Birthday & Celebrations guidelines:

Recent changes in legislation and district policy have affected how birthdays are celebrated at school[1]. Because of concerns about childhood obesity, legislation has been passed that limits the food that can be given to children at school. We understand parents like to celebrate their child’s special day by bringing treats to school for their class, but we ask you to follow these guidelines:

1.     Always speak to the teacher several days in advance.

2.     All treats must be pre-approved. Any unplanned/unapproved treats will NOT be passed out. A list of approved items is available in the office
