House Rules

House Rules

It is not just our job to keep kids SAFE, HEALTHY, and FOCUSED. It is the reason we decided to go into education! In order do so, we have a few rules that we need your help with. Please review these with your child now and help us enforce them throughout the year.

  1. In order to keep our kids HEALTHY and our campus CLEAN, gum and candy are NOT permitted on campus.  If students are caught with gum or candy, it will be taken away.
  2. In order to keep our students FOCUSED and personal items SAFE, toys, video games, electronic devices, stuffed animals, or other playthings are NOT allowed at school. If students are caught with such items, they may be taken away.
  3. In order to keep our students SAFE and our hallways QUIET for learning, NO playing or running on the stairs. Students must walk on the right side and hold on to the rail. Students must not loiter, shout in the stairwell, or slide down the banisters. Students are not to use the ramps on either side of the campus without direct supervision by staff.
  4. In order to keep our students SAFE, only students in grades 3-6 are permitted to ride bicycles. Students must walk them on campus. Helmets are required by law. Bicycles must be locked. Failure to abide by these rules may result in loss of privileges.
  5. In order to keep our students FOCUSED and everyone's privacy PROTECTED, the use of cell phones during the school day is prohibited--unless under the direct supervision of school staff. ALL cell phones must be turned off/silenced during the school day so they are not an interruption to learning. Students who misuse their cell phone including taking pictures, interfacing on social media, texting, etc.will have it confiscated and parents will be notified.
